Return & Refund Policy 
We do not offer a refund on custom order or items that have been altered in any way.  All custom orders require a minimum 25% deposit upon approval of proof which is non-refundable.  All items (excluding custom orders) carry a 30-day money back guarantee.  All items are powder coated for the best protection possible against the elements. We do not guarantee that your product will never rust. 

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are extra and not included in initial estimate.  If shipping is requested there will be an additional charge for this.  Orders can be picked up at the shop by appointment.

Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 14 - 21 days.  If we can get your product to you faster than that we most definitely will.  We do not ship on weekends or holidays.  If we experience higher than normal volumes of orders and there will be delays in your order we will communicate via email of these changes. 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We ship orders out according to size and weight.  We do our absolute best to box items as tightly as possible with the lightest materials possible that will ensure the safety of the product and to help keep shipping charges to a minimum.  There is a minimum $20 for delivery on any order.

Shipment To P.O. Boxes 
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes a physical address must be provided for delivery.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email with the name of the courier and the tracking information.  

Customs, Duties & Taxes
Sunset Valley Designs is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.  All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.  (tariffs, taxes, etc)

Damages
Sunset Valley Designs is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping.  If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim.  Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping Policy

Custom Orders
Custom orders will require a minimum 25% deposit which is non-refundable upon approval of proof.  Up to 3 proofs will be provided on custom orders, any changes or additional proofs may carry an additional charge for computer designs time.  All colours other than black are considered custom colours and an additional charge will apply.

Product Info
Items are made from 11-gauge (1/8" thick) or 14-gauge (1/16" thick) steel for durability and stability.  Any items over 36" it is recommended 11 gauge steel (depending on piece and detail).  Prices are according to recommended gauge steel.  All items manufactured in Canada and sold in Canadian Funds.  Prices are subject to change without notice. 

Custom Colours 
Please be advised that colour samples that are shown online may appear differently on different computers.  It is impossible to ensure our colours will look identical therefore we do not guarantee that what you see will accurately portray your chosen colour.

Railing Inserts
Sunset Valley Designs is not responsible for the item to satisfy building and construction codes in any area.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that product is mounted and safe for all living people and animals. 

Mounting Options
Picture style brackets with stand offs are placed so item will hang away from the wall.  This is an excellent option if you are planning on putting lights behind your piece.  These brackets are positioned so that the product will hang level or to the specifications of the customer.  Drilled holes are drilled into the piece so that again the product will hang level. If no tabs or pre-drilled holes are specified the item will be shipped with no mounting attached. 

Deck Screens & Inserts
Angle brackets are pre-drilled and welded to the insert in each corner so item can be installed level or as specified by customer.  Drilled holes are drilled into each corner so the item can be installed level or as specified by customer.  If no brackets or pre-drilled holes are specified item will be shipped with no mounting attached.

No, at any time during or after an order is placed do we store Credit Card information.  All credit card information is captured securely by Square.com and is handled only by authorized users.

How Do We Protect Your Information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.  We offer the use of a secure server.  All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.  After the transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc) will not be stored on our servers.  

Do We Use Cookies?

Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act.  We, therefore, will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.  As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of the Web Site may make any changes to their information at any time by logging into their control panel and going to the "Edit Profile" page.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.  Our website, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.  As a parent or guardian, you can request us to remove personal information of your child that was submitted without your consent or by misrepresenting his or her age.  At your request, we will take reasonable steps to remove such information from our database.  All such requests should include the same username, password, and e-mail address that your child submitted and should be sent to info@sunsetvalleydesigns.com.
